Dr Pete Webb

Dr Pete Webb is a Petroleum Geoscientist with 41 years of international experience in petroleum exploration, country analysis, basin evaluation, acreage selection, prospect generation and training.  He is a good team worker, trainer and proven petroleum finder.

Pete currently works as an independent consultant, and has recently been engaged in providing Exploration and Sub-surface Management Consultancy, whilst additionally delivering training courses and lectures around the globe.

Pete gained a broad range of knowledge through his early work at Sun International and Cairn Energy India Ltd as a Senior Geologist, as well as working for British Geological Survey and Fugro Robertson Ltd as a Project Manager. He has gained a wealth of international experience throughout his career and speaks English, Spanish, Swahili, Portuguese, French and German amongst other languages.

Pete’s professional memberships include the Geological Society (Chartered Geologist), AAPG (Associate Editor) and PESGB. 

International experience: Japan, United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia.
