Geoffrey Killick

Geoffrey Killick is a highly skilled Petroleum Economist, consultant and instructor with more than 35 years’ post-graduate international experience in the oil and gas industry. He obtained a BA Hons in Economics from University of Wales, University College Swansea.

Geoffrey has extensive knowledge of the oil industry and business practices in a variety of cultural environments, particularly the Middle East and North Africa. He has experience of listing companies on the stock exchange and subsequent reporting and compliance requirements.

With a track record in the industry, he has held leadership positions and been involved in strategic business planning and decision-making. Key personal attributes are: good communicator and effective motivator with a responsible approach to work that focuses on the broad picture whilst being aware of the operational requirements behind delivering results.

Geoffrey became an independent consultant and trainer in 2003 and his clients have included Merlon Petroleum Company, Taghmen Energy Plc and Lennbury International. In recent times he has been heavily involved in training courses for accounting and finance staff in oil and gas accounting and reporting requirements to US and UK GAAP and IFRA standards.

International experience: Nigeria, Egypt, United Kingdom, USA, Yemen and Latin America.
