Jem Scales

Jem Scales graduated from Edinburgh University in 1974 with an honours degree in Astrophysics.

He subsequently joined Shell International spending 36 years on assignment in 9 different countries before retiring in 2010. This was followed by a further 5 years with Sasol International in South Africa before retiring again in 2015.

Jem lives in Edinburgh, is married and has 4 children & 2 grandchildren. His hobbies include golf, astronomy and writing (book published in 2009 - The Blotto McKay Casebook) and is always open to interesting opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
